Center Reflections Easter Reflection – In the Morning ©Gloria J. McPherson 2020 Memory of agony Fading As he looks out; Morning has come. Thirst lingers, Reassurance of Humanity In the midst of Realization Of continued oneness. A promise kept – Who is the object? Himself Unforsaken? The women who watched, Who will yet Arrive? Peter and the others, Who forsook and yet Not; Can simply human do otherwise? Discarded cloths, Less white than From the hilltop, Still startling heaped upon The stone floor. Walking out into the Sunshine Warm upon his face, Arms uplifted, Radiance returned. Resurrection. ©Gloria J.
