There is no greater call than in this time in which we live to know the experience of true stillness with God. To be in a sacred space where there is complete trust and holding the fullness of grace for another as a spiritual companion throughout life’s transitions and shifting chapters; in discernment; in grief; and in making sense of what is of God and what is not – who God is – this is the core of the Center’s teaching and leading.
Our longstanding Ministry of Spiritual Direction (MSD) training has been an established program for more than 25 years. With our dedicated community of faculty scholars and administrative operational team coming together for this two year online program, there are 150 graduates of the program out in the world who bring God’s stillness and holy listening to individuals, communities, and organizations wanting to know the Spirit’s movement and the quiet still voice of God.
“It is hard to overstate how powerful this program has been – when coming to the program it was a difficult time with the pandemic and with the church. The last two years (in MSD) has been grounding, spiritually uplifting, gaining clarity through the places for discernment through Friday night and mini practice sessions with one another – a way to be uplifted and supported and go to deep places together to experience the movement of the Spirit with one another.” (2022 Graduate)
“MSD is transformational…more than just information. I feel more calm and peace – the rest in God for the journey.” (2022 Graduate)
Your support, as an individual, or through organizations of which you are a part, matter in sustaining the Center’s growth in teaching and reaching out through the MSD program. We are grateful as your contributions are an investment in the opportunity for individuals locally, nationally, and globally to prayerfully study, learn and lead as practicing spiritual directors.
MSD is not for a season; it is a life-long transformational experience and journey in the Spirit!
“…The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:10-11
We thank you for coming alongside the Center as it continues to be a space of love and grace in this season of thanksgiving.
