Providing a Space for Grace
The Center at Orchard Hill
Route 17 & Orchard Way
Millerstown PA 17062
Orchard Hill is the Center’s retreat center in the mountains of Central Pennsylvania. It is the perfect place to get away for small group or personal retreats and meetings
The retreat center sits high on a mountaintop near Millerstown, PA, thanks to the vision of Gary and Jean Miller of Sneads Ferry, NC. Our site looks out upon a broad vista that includes the approaches to Selinsgrove, PA, some forty miles away. Surrounded by more than two hundred acres of woodland, it is hard to imagine that US Route 22-322, is scarcely two miles away. Road noise disappears and one can see the hawks riding on the thermals. It is a truly beautiful place—a space for grace.
Orchard Hill’s facilities include a picnic pavilion, labyrinth and hiking trails, and an all-weather adult retreat facility. It includes four double-occupancy bedrooms, two with private bath and two with a semi-private bath; two single bedrooms with a semi-private bath; a kitchen-dining room; a great room with fireplace; and a handicapped-accessible bathroom. A propane-fired generator runs the utilities.
Millerstown is between Newport and Thompsontown on Routes 22/322. Take the Millerstown Exit off of 322 and go to the town square. At the square, turn RIGHT onto Route 17 East (Sunbury Trail) for approximately 1.2 miles. At the Orchard Way sign, turn LEFT and proceed up the mountain to the Center.
Rates begin at $75 per person per night. For a complete rate schedule and to check availability, contact the Center at 717-249-1512 extension 1006 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Prices subject to change.
Retreatants may bring their own bag lunches.
