Peer Supervision Gatherings
These gatherings are intended for those who have been (or are in training) as spiritual directors through the Center for Spiritual Formation. Those who have been trained by other programs are also welcome. The gatherings will include:
- a time of centering in community
- exploration of deeper learning
- small group sharing for active spiritual directors
For those who have been trained but are not active, this is a helpful place to practice your holy listening skills. All sessions will be on ZOOM with dedicated links and registration. These quarterly sessions are free of charge for participants.
Participation in the full series is encouraged, but not required. The timing of the quarterly series and retreat offerings are intended to meet active spiritual directors where they are in their work and study/practice journey. The topics identified are built around contemporary authors and issues. Focus is based upon encounters where deeper reflection and teaching are beneficial for advancing understanding and practice for directees and directors.
There is no fee to participate in these quarterly sessions.
Deeper Dives In Peer Supervision Retreats
The Center’s offering of two 1/2 day retreats provides the opportunity to enrich understanding of the spiritual director’s relationship to others. These extended experiences focus dedicated teaching and reflection upon the director’s own self-encounter in the journey with directees. Each retreat highlights a commitment to staying true to fundamental practices and continued alignment with best practices as a community of accountability through peer supervision.
