You are invited to a new series of Create! Starting This Week – Using A Field Guide to Color
Create! Is A Creative contemplative group that meets each Thursday via Zoom.
This week we will begin a new series focusing on the work of Lisa Solomon, particularly from A Field Guide To Color . You do not need the book to participate but I know some of you love a good reference at your side.
We will be contemplating color and its expression as an exploration of body/mind/soul wholeness. Hopefully this contemplative focus will lead us into the miracle of transcendence. We continue to learn through Create! that when we enter the quiet, we become present to revelation. Psalm 46:10 is so true, “Be still and know God.”

Create! is hosted by an organization I hold dear to my heart, The Center for Spiritual Formation.
A note about this series: Solomon primarily uses watercolors. If you want to explore that medium, consider having watercolors, water, watercolor paper, a brush or two and a paper towel on hand for our Thursday gatherings. But please know that this is not necessary. As always in Create!, you can respond to the prompts expressively via color, textiles, word, movement, or stillness in meditation. Just notice what you long to work with and honor that nudge.
Also, I am hoping we will be able to work with A Field Guide to Color through the end of May. You are welcome to pop in any week and experience this delightful gathering.
