Specific Prayer Needs of the Center
We present these prayers to the Holy One to whom all praise and gratitude are given as we seek to travel the sacred pathway of the Center…
O Gracious God, Hear Our Prayers…
- May there be a longing and a want to know your Presence and Peace as the Center provides deep Sabbath and Rest to those yearning to be still with you – on the mountain and across the world…
- Let your Wisdom present itself through your holy listening and discernment as we anticipate the movement of the Center in this world for those desperate to be near to you…
- May there be Generosity so the Center may thrive in its continuing growth and outreach through resources that support our community of hospitality, leading, teaching, learning and engaging…
- Let your Provision be reflected in prayerful giving, serving, and creating space that keeps the work and commitment of the Center a priority for those who are a part of the Center’s journey past and current, and those who are to come and be a part…
- May the Center be led by Love’s Justice and Mercy as we extend an invitation to all to share in your holy call of abiding in you…
Let the Center be a shared and continuing Pilgrimage that draws all together in our inward journey – bound together as one in our humanity and pursuit of you as our divine and life giving Spirit now and for eternity…

The Center Prayer
Will you pray for the Center for Spiritual Formation?
Dear God:
We pray for the life and ministry of the Center:
May it become a healing stream
for those who would be sustained by prayer;
May it become an ever-flowing river
for those whose spirits have grown dry;
May it become a fountain of life,
for those who would practice their faith
in a dry and thirsty land;
And may it nourish the seed of your Word—
the Church,
yielding a bountiful harvest for your
Kingdom.
AMEN

Listen:
A Prayer of Sacred Unity
Whatever brashness and empty words fill the noisy world around us
… may the silence and solitude of the Divine be heard
Wherever there is a dark and shadowing presence near to us
… may the Light breakthrough…casting beams eternal, further than we can see
Whenever voices of self-righteous injustice among us dismiss cries of anguish
… may the One who is Love hear our pleas for humble mercies
In the ever breaking cracks and crevices of our world and its people
… may our brokenness be overcome through Mystery’s Power as we seek restoration by
holy trust
Separation and divisiveness may take a hardened stand turning hearts and minds to stone
… may the Spirit soften and settle, revealing our shared being… all of us held by
Our Beloved
Even as we stumble and stagger in making our way, let us not be thwarted
… may we travel as one…holding each other up on the pathway
of The Sacred
Amen.

The Beauty of God’s Creation:
Our God, God of all men,
God of heaven and earth, seas and rivers,
God of sun and moon, of all the stars,
God of high mountain and lowly valleys,
God over heaven, and in heaven, and under heaven.
He has a dwelling in heaven and earth and sea
and of all things that are in them.
He inspires all things, he quickens all things.
He is over all things, he supports all things.
He makes the light of the sun to shine,
He surrounds the moon and the stars,
He has made the wells in the arid earth,
Placed dry islands in the sea.
He has a Son co-eternal with himself…
And the Holy Spirit breathes in them;
Not separate are the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
